spots

We had this book when I was a kid.

I remember sitting on the lounge room floor (that's the living room floor, for all non-Australian readers...) and being completely entranced and absorbed.  Not by the words but by this fellows very cheerful spots.

I am sure my parents never envisioned that these books would penetrate my adult world in any meaningful way, however this book marks the beginning of a lifelong love of spots.  Not just any old spots, mind you, but cheerful spots.

And you've got to admit, these are pretty darn cheerful.

So consider me officially part of Pillow Challenge Week.  This kitchen chair cushion is just the beginning.
